Back in March, Feudi di San Gregorio posted an opportunity to answer an essay on old vines for a bursary/scholarship for the Master of Wine. I didn’t enter (moving house meant I didn’t have the time) but the question interested me and so I thought I would answer it exclusively for my paid subscribers. What’s more, given the content of the Michelle Bouffard’s webinar I am introducing tomorrow on ‘Wine’s Water Dilemma’ it seemed an opportune time to post it.
